I hardly ever post photos of me, so let’s change this just for one day.
I’m celebrating a little and taking a minute to look back at what I’ve done the past 6 months.
6 months ago I decided it was time to revive my website, my photography and create something new.
I immediately went to work in my underground lab and after mixing various photographic substances and a few explosions… out came “CAPTURED LONDON”. A weird series with London’s landscape taken over by hovering glowing shapes in the sky.
Captured London is my latest series, if you have not yet seen it in full I suggest you grab a coffee and head to my website (link in bio). Inspired by my love for sci-fi and London’s epic landscape.
Last Friday, Digital Camera magazine (The UK’s leading photo mag) published a 4 page feature of my latest work. On top of this since 1st Jan I have had my writing shared ten times by big publications, the biggest being PetaPixel.
I’m not going to lie… it’s not easy. At all. I work hours daily and have sleepless nights as I can’t calm my over-active brain. Natural remedies do help though…
And I’m not really making money, but I keep at it, I have no choice, I know I can make it work, it’s just not the best of times to do so.
But I never stop, I visualise success, I work hard and I don’t let doubt settle in for too long.
I may project an image of “it’s all good” but I too get worried, I just manage to not let it eat me slowly. The power of self-belief is one not to be under-estimated. Believe in yourself, no one else will. This sends signals to the universe (no I’m not mad).
On that note, I wish you all a good week, let’s all be a lot nicer to others when we can, this is all that matters these days, love.
What else???
Well… grab a copy of Digital Camera Mag (it’s a huge issue all wrapped in plastic) and you’ll find me page 20 something among some great company.
Until next time, thanks to you all for the support,
Nico
