I was once hired by Land Securities (the largest commercial property development and investment company in the United Kingdom). They commissioned me to shoot the areas surrounding a few of their new developments.

In the article I highlight in red the mirror line or axis of symmetry.
Symmetry feels good and there must be a reason for it.
It is a need for humans, if our bodies were not symmetrical we would find it harder to walk and find balance. Symmetry is something we seek, we translate the symmetry we observe in nature such as the wings of a bird to our own designs such as planes.
