A man smoking while walking his cat around Soho, London.
In the past 12 or so years I have spent shooting London I can definitely say I have met interesting characters.
Star-shaped people who don't fit the standard square shape.
I’m a bit like that too.
I have always refused to be "standard", do what is expected of me, follow the money or adopt mainstream thinking and beliefs.
It is the reason I enjoy exploring creativity as it is in my opinion a door to our subconscious.
These days actually I draw to "mine" my brain and create illustrations (which I didn't when I began using a camera).
I try let the pencil guide my hand. I never plan what I’ll draw, I let it materialise itself.
I'm fascinated with what goes on inside one's brain. My own is a good starting point for exploration.
How do you define creativity and how important is it to you?
I wrote an article conveying my feelings about creativity in more depth and you can read it here:
HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOU CREATIVITY
I hope it will resonate with some of you.
Until next time.
