Kensington High Street // London Street Portraits
I was in Kensington High Street that day and walked by this lady, I stopped and said hello and asked if I could shoot her portrait.
She didn’t object and smiled.
I try to do this often, though I’ll admit not enough, it has so many benefits.
For one, talking to strangers just reminds us we are all the same, we all have our own struggle, we were all born and will all die, meanwhile we all live in not such a different way trying our best to get by.
I also think our society is too scared of others mostly from ignorance and we all have a lot to learn by just being more open.
A lot of people are actually really nice and a lot are quite happy having a chat.
Open a conversation with a stranger, who knows who you’ll meet.
You can see a larger collection of portraits I’ve shot of strangers here:
Until next time,
Nico
