I recently worked on what could be classed as a fairly painful job, they are rare luckily.

Long story short, I had to dig-out all my very best pictures of The Shard building, sifting through five years of urban photography, estimated in the region of 20,000 photos but it could well be 50,000 as I stopped counting quite early on.

Yes, us digital photographers have absolutely no respect for what it was to shoot rolls of film and paying to process it.

After ruining what was left of my precious vision (and getting the mother of all migraines), I eventually narrowed it down to 100 or so photos of The Shard which were kind of... "sitting pretty in my HDD" (tis all about ze rhyme).

The selection then got narrowed to 14.
