Aerial Photography in Dorset

I was among the first people in this country to fly drones and have been offering aerial photography in Dorset and London since 2014 often extending to the whole of the UK. In that time I have learnt to fly a drone expertly, finding a sweet-spot between flying responsibly and safely but also capturing exciting clips often pushing the drone to its limits.

Here’s an example of a one-minute promotional drone video of Sherborne, Dorset:

Of course different subjects or locations call for different music, pace and style.

Who hires me for drone photography and videography?

Real estate aerial photography and videography is one of multiple uses of UAVs and one of the best ways to boost sales of property, providing an unobstructed not-seen-before birds-eye view as well as interiors, yes, interiors can be captured with a drone too!

Did you know I also offer 360 degrees aerial images? These are perfect for websites and Facebook pages.

Developers also commission me. Often times developers will need to document the progress of a specific project, perhaps for shareholders or press and then will also need assets for launches and general marketing. This can be done through aerial photography, aerial videography as well as aerial timelapses, to speed-up an otherwise slow process such as construction.

I was hired in the past as a photographer for Land Securities for their London projects (One New Change in St Paul’s and Nova in Victoria), they are the largest commercial property development and investment company in the United Kingdom.

Nicholas was excellent to work with. He was communicative and flexible in the run up to the photo shoot, and delivered some beautiful and engaging architectural focused photography for our client Land Securities. We’d certainly recommend Nicholas for anyone looking to capture urban or architectural focused imagery.

Drone videos of tourist destinations are of course in high demand, often commissioned by local councils, tourism boards or hotel/restaurant groups.

Special occasions can also reach a whole new level with drone photography and videography of events. Think weddings, corporate events, launches, music festivals, sports events,… Why stick to ground level?

There is of course a legal requirement not to fly over crowds but it is entirely possible to remain safe and away from immediately above crowds and still capture incredible footage.

As you can see I have not only got the right skills to produce your next aerial video or capture aerial photos for you, I also have many satisfied clients, from demanding brands. (read more testimonials)

Many years working as a photographer at ground level have taught me to compose strong frames like a photographer, in addition to this, I am a DJ and know the importance of carefully beat-matching music and clips to produce optimal results which flow seamlessly and feel almost choreographed.
